As a lingual reference of a particular professional subject, terminology has its meaning in the translation of technological articles. Accurate diction and translation are important guarantees in the translating process. The book Quantitative Corpus Linguistics With R:A Practical Introduction leads its reader to acquire the skill of coding with R gradually under the researching approach of corpus, which creates a special way of introducing R compared to other corpus studying or programming writings. The multi-subject terminology is the most significant feature of book of this sort, and troubles caused by the variety of professional expressions have made it a non-ignorant problem in dealing with the technological translating activities. In this paper, the author discusses translating solutions of proper nouns, terms of basic structure and acronymous terms in different situation. Proper nouns usually refer to those single words with professionalism. Thus, words of these types are engraved with conventional sayings, which make higher requirements for the translator in professional knowledge of one particular area. That is to say, the translator cannot invent new sayings or look up the dictionary for a common saying of a professional expression but to consult and compare the references for the most accurate saying in target languages. To translate terms of basic structure shall take features of word-formation and professionalism into consideration. Because word-formation helps defining the word and professionalism can give a contextual restriction to the lexical meaning of a word from the perspective of a particular profession. The translation of acronymous terms mainly obeys the Principle of Least Effort in languages. So we usually retain the acronymous terms in the target languages on the one hand, and to give it an extra interlinear notes on the other hand. The translator shall combine terms with interlinear notes smartly so as to clear up confusions of target-text readers. This paper consists of three chapters. The first chapter is about Quantitative Corpus Linguistics and the relevant problems of terminology, the second part illustrate the translating process of terminology in the translating material concerning Quantitative Corpus Linguistics, and the third part is the Conclusion.
