The Study On Chinese Rhetoric And Translation To Uyghur

The rhetoric is not only an important part of linguistics, but also is a necessary part of linguistics which reveals the mystery of language and make the language function work more effectively, and the figures of speech is the main content of rhetoric.In this thesis, on the basis of modern translation theory and related theoretical method of rhetoric, we do comprehensive and systematic analysis and expressions on the translation skills of figures of speeches in Chinese and Uighur languages such as parallelism, allegory, periphrasis, symbols, rhetoric question, exaggeration and winding. Here the source materials are the excellent modern Chinese literatures including <Midnight>, <Fifty Years of Xinjiang>, <Big Breast and Wide Hips>, <A Dream in Red Mansions>, <Journey to the West>, <Selected Works of Mao ze dong> and some political works and their Uighur translation.The thesis consists of six parts. The first part is the introduction, mainly stating the meaning of the topic selection, the current situation of the study in china and abroad, the idea of the method of the study; The second part shortly reviewing the definition, the role and the object of rhetoric; The third part discusses the classification and Uighur translation of Chinese figures of speech; The forth part mainly expresses the translation skills and principles of Chinese figures of speech into Uighur language; The fifth part classifies the translation functions of Chinese figures of speech into Uighur languages; The last part is the conclusion, summarizing the main view and innovations in this thesis.
