Xinjiang is located in the northwest of China, is the largest area of the provinces in China, is also China’s ancient "Silk Road" an important channel. The minority nationalities in our country, most living in the territory of Xinjiang uygur. The mass media as the main medium of social communication, it exerts a subtle influence on public life, work and learning habits. Uighur traditional customs in the mass media and cultures are interwoven, resulting in a unique changes, changes of Uygur folk culture has profound cultural value.Previous research on Uygur is widely used, and has made some achievements, but also no one has studied the influence of mass media on Uygur folk culture. In this paper, based on the previous academic achievements, through the investigation of the phenomenon of the mass media under the influence of Uygur folk culture change, the Uyghur custom culture was analyzed, and the analysis of the role of the mass media on festival etiquette and the change of the mass media influence on weddings and funerals, analyzes the influence of mass media on the style of clothing and apparel the color of modernization, and separately from the diet structure and diet etiquette was described and analyzed. The different degree to reflect the current situation of the development of Xinjiang Uygur folk culture. The use of modern mass media and puts forward the existing problems and the future development trend and space. Comprehensive analysis of the development of the important influence of mass media on the Uyghur folk culture, points out the main problems in the development of Uygur folk culture, and proposes relevant suggestions for promoting the protection of Uygur folk culture, has certain instruction significance.
