The Rhetoric Study On The Emergency Of Malaysia Airlines MH370

Malaysia airline MH370 event is a typical international emergency event,involving many important aspects,the discourse of every aspect being the important part of handling event.This study is based on the related linguistics theories,and with “the oretical framework construction”and Van Dijk’s“Discourse macrostructure analysis ”,for building the framework of discourse analysis;describing and expressing the rhetoric phenomenon in the MH370 event by studying Malaysiakini、 People’s Daily 、Southern Weekend、United morning post、 Financial Times、 Wall Street journal、New York times、Xinhua net、Reuters、BBC and the related discourse of MH370 family members of the committee,and using literature research 、the data analysis、the text analysis and the case analysis.This study around the rhetorical activities “Rhetoric body( discourse role)--Rhetorical strategies--the discourse Receiver--Rhetorical effect” to analysis MH370 discourse rhetorical activities,the study has five parts: Firstly,analysis of the rhetorical context 、the rhetorical body、the discourse receiver and rhetorical motivation in the MH370 emergency event.Secondly,the study of using key words by the rhetorical body.Thirdly,analysis characteristics of rhetorical body’s discourse 、 rhetorical strategies from macro and micro aspects.Fourthly,,analysis rhetorical effect depending on the reflect of discourse receiver,for rhetorical criticizing the discourse activities by the rhetorical body.The last,giving some advices for different rhetoric bodies basing on the study.
