The Research On Urban Security Community Building Based On The Place Theory

With the living environment and the pattern of urban community are changed, and community neighborhood relations are becoming indifferent, making the city community crime phenomenon is becoming more and more serious. Therefore, security community building become the national sustainable development strategic target; and the concept of people-oriented to the city community planning to bring a new concept of development, the place theory for the study of the security community opened a new research perspective. This paper based on the social background and academic background, put forward the research on urban security community building based on the place theory. On this basis, this paper uses the method of combining theoretical research and empirical research.In theoretical research, through the reading and analysis of a large number of domestic and foreign literature, first of all, to the community and define the concept of security community, again to about urban community safety standards at home and abroad were reviewed, preliminary selection of the research dimension of city security community; second, to summarized the research progress of urban security community at home and abroad, further determine the research angle of view. On this basis, the introduction of “place theory”, “urban living space structure theory” and “the theory of the urban space of crime prevention”, from the residents’ subjective perception, community environment and community management system three aspects analyzes the influence factors of city security community building, on this basis, put forward based on the place theory system of city security community building.In empirical research, this article according to《the world health organization about the safety of the community standard》, and in 2006, our country put forward about《the basic requirement of the security community building》, and proposed in this paper, based on the place theory system of urban security community building to design thequestionnaire,by sampling survey questionnaires. Field research chose community of Xi’an Municipal different types of different nature, namely, Yan ta district of Ming de men community and Wai yuan community. Through to the different subject of investigation questionnaire, interview data and related data, analysis and comparison are made respectively from the three dimensions of residents psychological security space perception, spatial perception of community public security, community security space perception, to verify the differences of the effect of different variables on community safety. On the basis of, from the three aspects of community safety management, safety of community public facilities, community psychological security space and the existing problems in the community of in-depth analysis.Based on the above research, the common problem of the existence of the selected community are analyzed. Corresponding put forward countermeasures to optimize the focus on community psychological security space to create, strengthen the management system of community policing and improve community facilities, public safety system and construction of safe community.
