No Contour

Because of the unique artistic expression,the traditional 2D animation has been playing an irreplaceable role in all animation categories,but most of its works cannot jump out the production mode of hook line coating.Compared with hand-sketch,we can conclude the reasons for this phenomenon from 2D animation’s characteristics,basic principles,also its historical background.Although the production mode hook line coating creates a lot of outstanding works which is like a beautiful castle,with its contour image which can not fully comply the laws of beauty such as “Yin and Yang” has inevitable limitations.As we sign that animation may only be “cartoon” forever and drifts away and away from the pure art language,according to the argument that the truth of our world is like smoke and water,a part of contour line animation which gets stronger character and full of change along with the few wonderful no contour animation show that the potential context of 2D animation is far beyond the “cartoon”. In order to widen the 2D animation picture expressions and try to change the embarrassing situation between animation and drawing, combined with the analysis of non contour animation’s art characteristics and production methods along with the experience I have got in my master graduate design, in this paper,I presents bold and childish that the 2D animation without the contour line will rise in the future!...
