| The traditional Chinese painting has gradually formed a set of complete and uniq ue painting language system after the baptism of history and culture for thousands of ye ars.The painting line not only bears the modelling function, but also transfer the thought s and feelings of the painter. The line performances and reflects on the use of "penink", which changes with the replacement of the generations. Based on a brief summary and r eview of the formation and development process of the "penink" painting language in C hinese figure painting, this paper discusses the evolution and characteristics in each peri od of history, and expound how the painting language of traditional Chinese figure paint ing changes from the thinking of “pen†to “inkâ€. And analysis the painters’ exploration of the painting language in each period of history, and also combined with the modern a nd contemporary pioneers and artistes who did innovation in penink" painting language. The author himself makes some summarize about freehand brushwork figure painting a nd put forward some shallow understanding during the creation practice. And make som e conclusion about how the "penink" painting language express the contemporary ideas in the diversification of aesthetic form in the environment which to explore the language form into a deeper level is an important topic of contemporary art development. |
