The antinomain cultural sojourner ’s subculture is recently emerged as one of Chinese city subcultural group. Their emergence can be seen as a consequence of China’s rapid social transition, increased urbanization process, growing social mobility, as well as the surges of postmodernism.The antinomain cultural sojourner ’s subculture possess the naturalism and postmodernism cultural characteristics of ‘relax the rights and obligations, advocate individualism and value realization; abandon the social hierarchy and identity tags, advocate equality and de-identity; reduce materialistic, advocate naturalism and anti-materialism; break laws and discipline, advocate the liberation of human nature and adventure spirit.’ They give up a life of ease, clear materialistic, flee from cities, return to pastoral,embody counterurbanization spatial characteristics, finally formed the China’s largest antinomain cultural sojourner ’s subcultural sink in China’s southwestern border – Dali.The research is to explore the Dali antinomain cultural sojourner subculture phenomenon from the interdisciplinary perspective of socio-cultural geography and socio-cultural anthropology. Field work is the main research methods, while qualitative research and quantitative research are integrated to Explore Dali sojourners’ group characteristics, including the general subject characteristics,cultural spectrum characteristics and behavior characteristics; Dali sojourners’ cultural identity, including the subculture characteristics, cultural identity process and subcultural differentiation; Dali sojourners’ place attachment, including the spatial characteristics of the subcultural migration, social spacial construction and place attachment.Thinking topic: Tourism is not just an economic phenomenon or a social-cultural process, but a way to ease social contradictions, to heal human society, and to save human beings?...
