Piano Prelude is a concise and short type of western traditional music. It is necessary for both composers and players to understand and handle this type of music.Alexander Nikolaievitch Scriabin, as a famous Russian composer and pianist from the end of the 19 th century and the beginning of the20 th century, is well known for his artistic Preludes which possess strong characteristics of his and are deeply fond of by his pupils. The author herself is very interested in Scriabin’s music style, so this paper chooses eight Preludes of Scriabin’s early works as research objects to offer the author’s personal ideas about them for audiences who are keen to Scriabin’s play so as to promote the popularity of Scriabin’s Preludes in China in order to enhance the healthy development of social culture and arts. Present data available show that there are many comments and research works about Scriabin’s early Preludes. The contents of this paper concerns only the origin, development, evolution, features as well as relevant instruction about Scriabin and his early Preludes. This paper firstly explores with the author’s experience of learning and playing to illustrate the piano scores of Prelude and how to play them and then aims to comment on how to deal with difficult points, how to express their style and how to handle the piano pedal.
