Alexander Scriabin(1872--1915),is a famous Russian composer and pianist in thelate19thcentury and20thcentury. His music have a unique mysterious sense, from theearly infatuation and imitation of Chopin’s Music, to the medium-term research ofMysticism and Nietzche’s theory learning, Scriabin’s Music suggest the futuredevelop of modern atonality.Scriabin’s Music is not like Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff, both of their musichave a long line, he prefers to develop a short passage of music with differentcompose methods, such as cut and expend the music materials. Among the manycompositions of Scriabin, there are plenty of short passage music, therefore to have agood understand of the short passage music composed by Scriabin is an importantstep for music performers to play very good Scriabin. Expecting to make performersknow the Scriabin Performing Style better, this passage offers an general analyze ofearly Scriabin small pieces, to let the performers use the ideas in their performing andimprove the performing effect.The passage <Scriabin early small pieces analyze and performing style research>contains three parts.First part: to introduce the life and composing background of Alexander Scriabin,to know him by knowing the education and composing environment of his time.Second part: Introduce Scriabin performing style. Scriabin’s performing style isdeeply rooted in the tradition of Russian music, although unlike many Russian musiccomposers who use Russian traditional melody to compose, Scriabin’s compositionsdoes not contain many Russian melodies but he had inherited the excellent traditionof Russian music. This passage analyze Scriabin performing style through the sourceof his performing style,the characteristic of his performing, and his early small musicpieces, try to learn the Scriabin performing style through a comparativelycomprehensive way. To analyze his music, the passage use the Scriabin self-playeddisk recorded by Welte-Mignon Company compares with his score and his notation,to find the general character of his playing, and learn the unique performing method of Scriabin.Third part: The writer had picked several early small pieces, to analyze the musicform, the music developing method, Scriabin’s self play recordings etc. to makefurther explanation of Scriabin’s own music performing style.
