The Survey And Research Of Chongming Area Folk Music

Chinese nation has a long history, music and culture run a long course from a remote source. Musical origins are closely linked with labor,labor is closely related with art ands folk music, they are inseparable.Chongming is the third largest island, the largest estuary sand island in China. It heads to West ends toward east, lying on the mouth of the Yangtze River in the shape of silkworm. Chongming South to long Jiangzhu Hong Road as the boundary, and near to changshu of jiangsu province, Taicang, Shanghai baoshan district, Chuansha district. North to Qidong and Haimen in Jiangsu Province, east to the East Sea, west to the Yangtze River. Chongming Island in production mainly from surrounding soil reclamation, fishing, etc., animal husbandry, fisheries,agriculture are more developed, the laboring people in Chongming Chongming Island, are well-inspired by the long-term unique history,geography, culture, customs, and in the long term production and produce a variety of folk music. This paper is divided into two parts Part I and Part II, the first part mainly analyzes the research Chongming folk songs, including chant, folk, minor; next mainly around Chongming instrumental music, rituals, mountain opera conducting a research study.
