The Way To See—To Analyze The Pictures’ World Of David·Hockney

I have mainly used the literature research in this paper.The aspect of it is about that “the way to see” of David Hockney.After the early stage of the data collection and reading,I discovered that either the literal information or the pictorial datas of Hockney are quite rich,I divided these into four categories: autobiography of David Hockney, the books of David Hockney’s writings and interviews about David Hockney and related papers.And the pictorial datas are divided into: the Hockney’s images and some vedios of Hockney.After a year of data collection and analysis, I think the most worthy part toresearch about David Hockney is the way of him to see.As a result of this par is the clue in the research of the development of his arts.I decided to choice“THE WAY TOSEE——TO ANALYZE THE PICTURES’ WORLD OF DAVID·HOCKNEY”as the these.I divided this paper into four parts. Each part of the thesis has played an important role in clarifying the central argument. The first part, mainly through the analysis of the selection process, to discuss the importance of this argument; the second part, combined with the need to demonstrate the details of the life of David Hockney. Through the elaboration of his life, the readers have a more complete and clear understanding of the artistic creation of Hockney, and the third part is the three main factors that affect the formation of David Hockney’s unique "view". So that readers can through the understanding of the phenomena of origin, the essence of better understanding of the phenomenon; the fourth part by clue and significance of of David Hockney works one by one analysis, one example of "see" in the works ofDavid Hockney, finally complete and clear of the argument will be explained.David Hockney is a famous artist of oil painting in the contemporary world.A lots of art critics have commented him and there are some positives or negatives.Unfortunately,the monograph of David Hockney is not yet available.Due to the status of Hockney——one of the greatest influential artists of the 21 st century in Britain, his historical status and influence of art are not allow to ignore.another words,there are huge researching spaces and researching values.
