Fushan’s Study On Zixue And Its Historical Significance

Fu Shan is a quite talented philosopher in the history of Chinese philosophy,and has a profound impact to the Chinese philosophy.His great thoughts of Zixue(子学)as the most important part of his academic theory also have great academic value.In this paper,the writer use the literature analysis methods and combine the bibliography and the history of philosophy to discuss Fu Shan’s research of various schools thought,and focus on the special value and significance that Fu Shan’ Zixue to the development of Chinese philosophy.The first chapter discusses Zixue’s category, and then analyzes the reasons why the Fu Shan attention to Zixue. The writer suggest that Fu Shan attention to Zixue, there are several reasons, for his personal interest and the social background of the times. More importantly, it is the reason for Fu Shan’s awareness to academic thought development. Therefore, Fu Shan attention to Zixue, because he recognize the non-Confucian classics thoughts are very important and nesassery,Zixue can correct the Lixue from i impractical and dogmatic, to ensure the normal development of academic thought.The second chapter described the content of Fu Shan’Zixue thought.Fu Shan understanding for Zixue is clear.He emphasized that all the thoughts of various schools of pre-Qin are equality,his research are based on this view,he never only focus on individual character study of the pre-Qin thought; He stressed that "food collected," said his academic research was explore all of the nutrition from various schools of thought;He stressed that "wash," said his research is use the method that so-called "glue saponins" to integrate the Zixue, is to eliminate the disadvantages of traditional philosophy, is the integrated research for the development of philosophical thought.On the basis of the above, the third chapter analysised and assessed Fu Shan’Zixue,pointing out the limitations of the research,at the same time proposed the research of Zixue have three aspects of positive significance in the specific historical conditions.First,the research of Zixue has learn from pre-Qin philosopher, developed the pre-Qin thought resources;Second, Fu Shan’research break the monopoly by the confucianism,promote academic freedom and ideological emancipation, have the enlightenment significant;Third,Zixue study aimed at eliminate the disadvantages of traditional philosophy dirt, aimed at absorb the thoughts resources of various schools to make up the traditional philosophy.And this integration means to make up for renewal and reconstruction of the traditional philosophical system,therefore, Zixue study have the significance that update and reconstruct the traditional philosophy.
