The Influences Of Phone Number Suggestions On Operation Performance And Satisfaction

The suggestion is being defined as a mean to provide relevant information by computer automatically to help user to complete input on the operation interface. All these kinds of interfaces can be called as the design of suggestions. In this study, we use the method of performance evaluation and questionnaire to explore the effect o f different suggestions modes on human operation performance and satisfaction, and try to put forward a best way to set the suggestion in the specific input task.This study consists of four parts of experiments:Experiment1: the effect of the suggestions on operation performance is studied. Experiment2: The effect of ranking on operation performance and satisfaction, including the adaptive and non-adaptive ranking. Experiment3: The effect of display modes on on operation performance and satisfaction, including the static and dynamic display modes. Experiment4: The effect of the dynamic display modes of adaptive ranking suggestions on operation performance and satisfaction.The main results of this experiment are as follows:1. Suggestions improved accuracy significantly;2. Adaptive suggestions reduced operating time significantly;3. Suggestions using dynamic mode improved subjective satisfaction andperformance significantly;4. No difference between different adaptive ranking suggestions of dynamicpresentation.The results show that adaptive ranking suggestions and dynamic dispay mode can make the setting of suggestions better.This study explored the influence of the ranking and display mode of the suggestions on the performance and satisfaction. In theory, the results of this study further understand the characteristics of the user in the use of interactive input interface, make up for the lack of empirical research in the field of information. In the interface design, the results of this study provide a theoretical support for optimizing the design of suggestions.
