This thesis through to the Martin Luther religious reform after the chant music research, analyze chant music in 18th——19th century German composer application and significance of this paper discusses mainly the characteristics of “God is our strong fortress”and its music elements in Bach’s cantata religious reform, and Mendelssohn composed the religious reform symphony, the application of the two works and then discuss DE chant music features, pursue chant music for Germany’s impact on the development of music.This thesis is divided into four parts:The first part: The creation of the Martin Luther chant music.
