| The format of “fangzhe+NP+bu+VPâ€is frequently used in daily Chinese expression; however, foreigners may be confused with the access to learning it after their acquisition of existential sentence. Based on the research of “fangzhe+NP+bu+VP†as a construction, this paper discusses its syntactic features, semantic ones and pragmatic ones from the perspective of Three-dimension Grammar. This article can be divided into eight parts.The first part introduces the origin of selecting the topic. More importantly, this part concludes previous studies on relative topics and presents us innovations and shortcomings.The second part mainly discusses the construction meaning of “fangzhe+NP+bu+VP†and explores the progress of its construction history from the diachronic perspective.The third part mainly focuses on NP and VP in “fangzhe+NP+bu+VPâ€. NP is a noun or noun phrase which is definite while VP is a verb which is usually colloquial. Besides, there are three kinds of relation for NP and VP, that is, dominating and being dominated, place and behavior, time and behavior.The fourth part mainly discusses the syntactic features of “fangzhe+NP+bu+VPâ€. This part analyzes its different elements and syntactic functions. Actually, the format can serve as subject, predicate, attribute, complement and adverbial.The fifth part mainly discusses the semantic features. The actor is a noun usually referring to people and the speaker expresses the subjective assessment. In addition, the format has relatively negative semantic.The sixth part mainly focuses on the pragmatic features, for example, context adaptability and its counter-expectation.The seventh part mainly discusses the establishment of the mechanism from two aspects which are language economy and national cultural psychological mechanism.The eighth part demonstrates some useful teaching strategies on the basis of above-mentioned research.In all, this article summarizes previous studies; meanwhile, it also presents supplements and innovations. We hope that the detailed analysis of “fangzhe+NP+bu+VP†will enrich the current research and provide some valuable advice for teaching Chinese to speakers of other languages. |
