Chinese culture has a long history, has profound connotation and unique national style, and Chinese painting art is the product of Chinese culture, is the highest wisdom crystallization of Chinese nation’s aesthetic. The production and development of Chinese painting can not be separated from the evolution of society and the change of society, and the development of Chinese landscape painting is the most brilliant and splendid one in the history of the development of Chinese painting. The brilliance of Western painting mainly took place in several periods, and it was more representative of the Middle Ages(1476-15 century) painting, the Renaissance period of painting and the development of the later period of Western painting.This paper studies the similarities and differences between Chinese landscape painting and Renaissance landscape in the Ming Dynasty as the main line, and analyzes the characteristics of the painting and the relationship between the two regions. Through the China landscape painting of Ming Dynasty and the Renaissance landscape overview,two kinds of painting of the differences, similarities and mutual fusion of the comparative study of and mining the uniqueness of the landscape painting of the Ming Dynasty and the Renaissance landscape painting development trend. As well as the compatibility of landscape painting and landscape painting to datong. Investigate its roots, the study of the essence of the two periods of painting.This thesis consists of four parts:The introduction part describes the research object, put forward the perspective of literature, research perspective and research methods.The first chapter is mainly on the China Ming Dynasty landscape painting and landscape painting of the Renaissance a basic overview. Including the characteristics and the important status of landscape painting in the Ming Dynasty, the characteristics and the importance of Renaissance landscape painting. As well as detailed in each period the representative characters and painting features to make a detailed analysis of the important status and characters.The second chapter is the difference of the Ming Dynasty landscape painting and landscape painting of the renaissance. The research includes two periods of artperformance practices, the concept of space, artistic pursuit, creation concept. By the Ming Dynasty landscape and Renaissance landscape painting, showing the two main different kinds of painting.The third chapter mainly studies the similarities of Ming Dynasty landscape painting and landscape painting of the renaissance. Mainly analyzes the similarities Chinese landscape painting and the western landscape painting, the origin of the two period of the social background and painting techniques. The interlinked painting techniques is described in detail. Respectively, expressing the inner picture combined with actual situation, and the regularity of the composition from the color.The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of blending landscape painting landscape painting in the Ming Dynasty and the renaissance. Including the impact of art elements in the landscape painting of the Ming Dynasty to China landscape painting influence of western culture, the Renaissance painting.
