| Based on conversation analysis as the theoretical basis, this paper uses the example method and the interpretation method to classify the outdoor reality TV programs from different angles, and discusses the function and restricting factors of repeated discourse, as well as the influence of daily communication. This paper mainly takes the last stage of the first quarter of the "ultimate challenge" as the corpus. And transcribing and screening the corpus to focus on the function and restricting factors of the repeated utterances. On the one hand, there is a comprehensive and profound understanding of the repeated utterances. It is proved that the conversation analysis can explain the repeated utterances in the conversation. On the other hand, it also has some implications for the use of communication strategies in our daily conversations.This paper is divided into five chapters. The first chapter summarizes the research status and significance of conversation analysis and repeated utterances. In the second chapter, the repeated discourse is defined, and the repeated phenomena in the conversation are classified from four different perspectives. In the third chapter, from the macro angle and micro angle, the function of the repeated utterances in the conversation is discussed. The functions of repetition in two forms of self-repetition and other-repetition are discussed in detail. The explanatory power of conversation analysis is proved, and the importance of repetition is also explained. The fourth chapter discusses the factors that restrict and influence the use of repeated words in conversation. Through the analysis, it is found that there are general reasons and special reasons. The general reasons are driven by communicative purpose and the constraints of memory structure. The driving of communicative purpose is the inner motive force of repeated utterances, and the restriction of memory structure is the basis of repetitive utterances. The special reasons mainly include the influence of communicationenvironment and communicative language ability and expression habits. They affect the balance of repeated use of words. The fifth chapter discusses the appropriate and inappropriate use and influence of repeated discourse in daily communication. It is concluded that the proper use of repeated utterances can achieve the maintenance of communication, strengthen the memory of important information, express strong feelings, ease the communication atmosphere and end the conversation. Improper use of repeated utterances may cause communication problems, and even lead to failure of communication. |
