With the Houmingzqi site as the research object and through the collection of archaeological remains within the site, the paper operates the preliminary analysis and research on the formation, the age and the nature of the mound groups as well as the date and the nature of courtyard in the site. The whole paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter is the preface, which chiefly introduces the research object, the purpose, the content, the research design and the discovery and the research of Spring-Nabo(i.e. the station for Emperor’s fishing and hunting in the spring). The research purpose is to solve the problem of the mound groups formation and the problem of whether the mound groups are artificial through the collection of both the mound groups and the unearthed archaeological data,and then analysis the age and the nature of the site.The second chapter covers the general situation of the site. The chapter introduces the natural environment of the site, the historical development of the site area and the relevant situation of the mound groups and the courtyard in the site.The third chapter explores the mound remains. The chapter generally introduces the mound remains, the relics on and in the mounds, the remains on the mounds and the mounds themselves. the mound formation,the age and the nature of the mounds are analyzed and researched in the final part.The fourth chapter studies the courtyard relics. The chapter systematically collects the archaeological data about the architecture sites of Number one and Number two. By comparing the materials, the age of two architecture sites is infer to early of Jin dynasty. And the age of courtyard is conjecture to Jin dynasty.The fifth chapter is the conclusion. The chapter concludes the mound formation and function and the site age and the nature through the previous analysis.
