Weibo use convenience and efficiency way let many college students social change gradually, CNNIC official data show that Sina weibo is to form a pattern of the dominance of 69.4% market share.With the popularity of Sina weibo and utilization rate rising year by year, the relationship among its use motivation and college students’ subjective well-being, self-esteem need further research. Although there are many previous studies have shown that closely related to self-esteem and subjective wellbeing, but in today’s frequent use of social networks era background,such as Sina weibo, self-esteem and subjective well-being relationship is still worthy of further discussion.This study from those factors such as the use of motivation, self-esteem and subjective well-being as a starting point, to college students as the research object, understand the self-esteem level, the level of subjective well-being, the use of Sina weibo strength and motivation, students’ Sina weibo use motivation, self-esteem, and the relationship between subjective well-being, in order to improve the contemporary college students’ subjective well-being and self-esteem provide reasoned scientific basis, and provide reference for domestic and foreign scholars research.Methods: using cluster random sampling method, 1000 college students of school of subjective well-being and self-esteem, Sina weibo use of motivation questionnaire survey, and the recovery of 781 valid questionnaires were statistically analyzed, using SPSS18.0 for data analysis, and on the basis of using AMOS17.0 software intermediary effect analysis.Get the following research conclusions:(1) Among the subjects of used Sina weibo in the motivation, the motivation of human interaction is the most obvious, the second is to obtain information motivation, finally is entertainment motivation;The participants level of self-esteem and subjective well-being level is higher.(2)Use Sina weibo motives there were significant differences in gender, professional, including interpersonal interaction motivation and access to information motives there were significant differences in gender and professional, entertainment motivation on the gender, professional, grade and there was no significant difference; There were significant differences in professional student self-esteem; College students’ subjective well-being differences in the grade.(3)Sina weibo use motivation(interpersonal interaction motivation, access to information motivation, entertainment motivation), self-esteem and subjective wellbeing(life satisfaction, total emotion index)dimensions of two related.(4)Self-esteem in Sina weibo use motivation influence on subjective well-being completely intermediary role.The results show that the college students’ motivation, self-esteem and subjective well-being of Sina weibo is two significant related to the level of self-esteem level in Sina weibo use motivation and intermediary role between college students’ subjective well-being.
