Shang Zhou Archaeological Relics in northeastern part of Liaoning as China refers to a 3000-year-old culture relic which was in late Shang dynasty and early western Zhou dynasty of Central China. The culture relic is located to two part areas; the first one is Liaodong mountainous and hilly region near the main channel of Liaohe’s downstream and eastern of its branch Xiushui River. The other is a small part of Liaohe plain near the west of Xiushui River. At present, the culture area division has been established not for long by academic circles. There are a lot of disagreements among the culture area issue, especially in cultural attribute, the relationship of relative cultural connotation, etc.If the culture area has been given an accurate position, it will play an important role not only in studying the cultural area itself, but also in studying Liaoning archaeological cultures at the end of Shang dynasty and the beginning of Zhou dynasty and Xituanshan Cultural formation of Second Songhua River Basin at western Zhou dynasty. On the basis of studying remaining pottery in the north of Liaodong area, this thesis goes through on the classification and remains of typological comparison between each basin, determines the cultural attribute of each remain and the archaeological cultural relationship on surrounding cultural areas. This thesis also makes an inference about the flow direction issue of the archaeological culture. This thesis is divided into four parts. The first part:this part makes a brief overview on the distribution and characteristics about Zhou Shang dynasty typical remains in northeastern part of Liaoning area. This part mainly goes through analyzing the habitation and the tomb feature of each basin. The second part:this part is classifying the materials of habitation and tomb. According to the stratigraphical relationship of typical remains, this part also sets an ordination on unearthed pottery of relative remains based on the stratigraphical relationship, and determines the characteristic and combination relationship of typical pottery. The third part:the morning and evening respectively each river region implements characteristics of two phase contrast, find out the similarities and differences between each other, then the site features and related problems such as tombs shape to make a brief comparison, to determine each basin culture distinguishes between regions. The fourth part:discuss north liaodong region and at the same time the western Liaoning, comparing the high plains of Gaotaishan Culture analysis of the influence degree of the latter on the former; Then discuss the related problems such as the flow of the culture of northeastern part of Liaoning, the reduction to the Bronze Age archaeology culture development in the northeast of the sequence.
