The Period Of Wei Jin Southern And Northern Dynasties Of The Silk Road In Shanxi

Since ancient times, Silk Road is designated not only as the "Eurasian continental bridge" connecting different countries in trade, but also the "world culture zone" gathering the growth, conflict and fusion of multi-ethnic culture. Shanxi, as an important node of the Silk Road, plays an indispensable role in the economic and cultural exchange between the East and the West in Wei, Jin southern and northern dynasties. Based on its important role in Silk Road in Wei, Jin southern and northern dynasties, this thesis conducts a comprehensive and in-depth discussion from the following five aspects:First of all, we describe the change of the west road in Han, Wei, Jin, southern and northern dynasties, especially overview the changes in the path of western regions in Han Dynasty, Wei, Jin southern and northern dynasties, as well as we verify the access of Ju Yandao, Tu Yuhun dao and the grassland of Silk Road, and we make the detailed exploration to the route within Shanxi province and the route to the outside. Second, we expound each regime’s operating situation of Silk Road by stages in Wei, Jin southern and northern dynasties period, and we discovered that each stage of the business is inseparable from Shanxi’s unique position, especially Ping Cheng in the Northern Wei Dynasty as well as Jin Yang in the Eastern Wei Dynasty and the Northern Qi Dynasty. Third, we discuss the achievements of Shanxi in the exchanges of the East and the West from such aspects as utensils, technology and so on. Forth, we show the east and west culture from religion, culture, art of living in Shanxi. Fifth, we explain the situation of Sick Road of Shanxi from strategic position, ethnic fusion and the ruling Center in Wei, Jin, southern and northern dynasties. In the end, we come to the conclusion that Shanxi, as an important node of the Silk Road in Wei, Jin southern and northern dynasties is an indisputable fact.
