The Application Of Chinese Traditional Philosophy Thoughts In Composition

Composition is an important method to gain music, the composers’ mode of thinking affects the appearance of music directly. The Extensive and profound Chinese traditional philosophy, which penetrating in all aspects of human activities, existing in human subconsciousness, and affecting human thoughts. Therefore, the composers, whether intentionally or not, will be guided by the philosophy, and then the close connection between music and philosophy. However, based on the research of the related literatures, I found that most of the views focus on the relationship between music and philosophy, the philosophical analysis of music works and attitude toward music appreciation, the relevant research data in music creation process is less.This article from the viewpoint of composition, taking the process of my original works “Bing Che Xing” as an example, making an analysis to the logical sequence :beginning,expand, echoing to the beginning, expounding the guidance of Chinese traditional philosophical thoughts in my creation, searching for the philosophical principles of composition skill, putting forward that composition should be combined with philosophical thinking, and inspiring composer learners to use philosophical thoughts in composition.
