Banboom flute has a great position in Chinese instrument developement history, this ancient horndriven instrument, behold the ethetic essence which accumulated.of thousands of years.Its sound is clean and bright, round but deep, full of expression, maintain the ethical endemic of China.In1950s to1960s, banboom flute started its solo performance, and seperate the performing style into The South School and The North School of China banboom flute performance.The South School perform with QuDi, performing skills including "Chan, Die, Zeng, Da".The melody is more beautiful, exquisite and resplendent, filled with the region lingering charm, The North School’s performing skills including "Duo, Hua, Mo, Hua, Tu’, which make its sound spirited, bright and powerful, shows the region features of north land of China. Since1970s, the filed of banboom flute performance’s feeling has expanded, new performing skills are keep coming, expression of performance is maturing.Thses aspects becom the cradle of many performers who have special characteristics and lead to quiet many different kinds of performing styles.The flute attists after the libration of China, they learn the skills from the folk players by talking, that’s the prove of flute performing skills and history.Form the study of skills and selection of the performers’master pecieces, such as Gather of Flute Solo Play, Solo Selection of Liu GuanYue, Hisroty of Flute Art, Zhao SongTing’s Flute, Flute Play Selection of Feng ZiCun, Flute Play Selection of Lu ChunLing".For now, I classified the flute performing skills, conbined the knowledge and skills of traditional flute performance and studied it from breath, finger and tounge, including phusical frequent, physical reason of flute sonification, the structure of flute.I emphasize that we need not onlu traing the performer performing skills, but also teach them in the flute performing system which including both skills and knowledge of flute.
