The Reseach Of Furnishing Of Neo-chinese Style In-door Decoration

With the progress of technology, communication via Internet has become more and more convenient, also communication between designers from different countries become more frequent.The collision of different cultures bring a lot of styles with their own national characteristics. Nowadays, as the impaction of China has been increased, “The Chinese Element” is valued by lots of foreign designers in bunch of areas especially in Graphic design and indoor decoration. The emblem of 2008 Beijing Olympic Games is a good example. The Chinese designers based on Chinese traditional culture, learned from traditional indoor decoration, then produce Chinese style decoration. But the Chinese style decoration hasn’t absorbed the modern ideas; it has some limits which cause the form of Neo-Chinese style.This essay used ideas of literature survey, interdisciplinary Research and analysis. This essay in view of design of Chinese style, via analyzing Chinese traditional culture, studies the form of Neo-Chinese style furniture. At the same time, I analyze the character of Neo-Chinese style which is the combinations of national and modern, local and international. This essay is based on scientific theory of modernism, looking for design language in traditional culture, exploring the inner beauty and manifestations, also the applying of color and the design principle of Neo-Chinese style.At the same time, we study the Neo-Chinese furnishings design as a "new" element sourc e. First resource is the traditional building components are used in the indoor space; second, t he indoor garden design principles will be able to use in the water environment design; the thi rd resources is the traditional furniture processing; next one is use traditional symbol to rewor k on the project; finally, we are going to use the new materials and new technologies in furnis hings design. The traditional elements, traditional principles, new materials and new technolo gy combined to a new form of Chinese art and design in the home furnishings area. We could create a certain mood with a beautiful "new" Chinese art to present to customers. We need be sure all kinds of Neo-Chinese style furnishings are able to meet the functional and aesthetic n eeded based on the co-ordination between the various elements and unified a Neo-Chinese fur nishings design overall.At last, we analyze an individual case, we used an indoor environment of a house, analyze family background, family members and their interest, re-design and decorate their house, appear with a diagram. In this way, we can explain the art of furnishing of Neo-Chinese style indoor decoration.
