A Study On How Can Haimen Students Learn Putonghua Well

Haimen City in Nantong is in the southeast of Jiangsu. Haimen City has two dialects: a Haimen dialect and a dialect for the East Haimen. The study object of this article is Haimen dialect. The research in Haimen dialect based on Haimen dialect and Putonghua, intended to explore the Haimen students how to learn Putonghua well.This paper is divided into three chapters. The introduction part describes Haimen’s history, geography and population, the research on Haimen dialect. The first chapter describes the initials, vowels, tones in Haimen dialect. Haimen has 31 initials, 50 vowels, 8 tones.The second chapter will compare the Haimen dialect and Putonghua in initials, vowels, tones. Haimen dialect and Putonghua have three types of correspondence:(1) the corresponding;(2) conditions corresponding;(3) special correspondences or exception. There are 8 tones in Haimen dialect and 4 tones in Putonghua.The third chapter puts forward the strategies of learning Putonghua from initials, vowels and tones. Paper attempts to explore the evolution law between dialects and Putonghua to guide Haimen students learning initials, vowels and tones in Putonghua.
