Lenin’s theory of world history is an important part of Marxist theory of world history. From the perspective of formation conditions, its formation has rich thought resources and practical experience. From the point of formation history, for thinking and interpreting theory of world history, Lenin had gone through three stages roughly. Among them, during the period from 1912 to 1916, Lenin mainly thought about imperialism theory. During the period from 1915 to 1917, Lenin mainly thought about the theory of a country’s victory. From 1918 to the death of Lenin, his main focus is on the theory of leaping development. From the point of history development, Stalin and Communist Party of China’s theory of world history were influenced by Lenin. That is to say, at the different stages of historical development in the world, according to the time background, Lenin had put forward the theory of a country’s victory, imperialism theory and the crossing theory of thought. From the point of the theory of content, these different and interrelated thoughts constitute the main body of Lenin’s theory of world history thought together. Standing in the history of today, reviewing Lenin’s theory of world history, it still has very important value to the future development of Socialism with Chinese characteristics.
