The Case Study Of Affinity:Influences Of The Parenting Style

The relationship between parents and children is the one which starts before other relationships in someone’s whole life. Based on a variety range of the relevant studies and researches, it has been recognized by psychologists at the beginning of the subject’s establishment that parents’education mode will have a strong impact on the development and improvement of their children. The study tries to prove that the parenting style will cause attachment for adults, provides living examples for applications of correlation theory, and ultimately enriches valuable data and living examples for the study of the parenting style’s influences on attachment of individuals through quantitative analysis and case study under the background.The study utilizes SPSS 17.0 to do statistical analysis, applies descriptive statistics, difference test, correlation analysis and regulated variable test, etc., methods to do analysis and processing on data, so as to discuss influences of the parenting style on affinity of adjusts.The first part of our research will adopt EMBU (Egma Minnen av Bardndosnauppforstran) and ECR (Experiences in Close Relationships Inventory) as the method of a questionnaire survey to fully discuss the influence which parents’education mode bring to an adult intimate relationship. The survey uses an on-line approach to test the subjects whose ages are ranging from 18 to 35. After removing the defective and invalid questionnaires, data results have been proved effective as it involves 208 subjects and the qualification ratio is 88.5 percent.The second part of our research extracts two cases and offers living examples to applying theory in practice. The first case is the consultation about love in the affinity. The interviewing content displays the guiding direction with the theory of counselors, promotes cognitive level of individuals gradually and looks for reasons for assisting individuals to figure out affinity. After promoting problem cognition on a new level, individual emotion has been relieved, accepts the reality and starts dispassionate reflection intellectually. The second case is the consultation about the parenting style in affinity. The interviewing content displays the consulter-oriented guidance, triggers parents’ reflection on their parenting style by figuring out problems of children, and provides specific advice for modifying the parenting style.
