Application-oriented institution is a new type of college and university which make the undergraduate education as the main body, applied talents cultivating as the goal and the service offer of local economy or industry as its purpose. According to the training target of Applied Undergraduate Colleges and universities, high level of practicality、skilled and occupational professional students in film-television major should have strong practical ability, rich knowledge base on this area, strong learning and adapting ability, high sense of innovation and good comprehensive quality. By investigating current market demanding of the film-television industry in Hebei province as well as the surrounding cities and provinces, three years of employment situation among graduates of Hebei Institutes of Communication and professional recognition of students in this college, the thesis shows the gap between the school education and the market demanding, and reveals the direction of educational reformation.Combining the characteristics of film-television majored students and features of academic disciplines,we establish and consummate the practice teaching system.In the application of film-television teaching practice,we sum up the advantages and disadvantages with the introspection in studying teaching modes of Learning-Plan-Teaching and Action-oriented teaching. Then we integrate the advantages from these two teaching modes, construct model of “Learning-Plan-Teaching +Action-oriented-Teaching”at last.The core of this mode is: according to the professional training goal, combined with professional teachers’ recommendations the teaching and research section should formulate the course syllabus and examine outline of this major;based on the syllabus, examine outline, and combined with the students’ individuality,teachers should refine teaching objectives,determine the teaching contents,and design the learning plan together with student themselves; introducing the Studio projects which devote to the teaching contents, and make sure the studios organize and manage these projects. The main line of whole teaching process follows practical works. The creation process is the learning process.Under the guidance of the model,teacher should use the methods of case-based teaching, task-driven teaching and project teaching flexibly。As the time,In order to improve the practical ability of students, serve the local economy and improve the comprehensive quality of film industry workers,Institutions should make full use of local resources which depends on the cooperation between universities and enterprises, strengthen the construction of practice bases and the construction of double qualified teachers.
