Tablet Design For The Public Square Dancers

Square Dance, as a new way of life in the elderly, is popular throughout the country, and gradually formed a cultural phenomenon with Chinese characteristics. In order to find a breakthrough, this article will give a detailed analysis of this phenomenon, and design the tablet for the public Square Dancers with using the user-centered design approach, and then describe the design process.The main content of the design study:Firstly, finding market opportunities through the square dance manifestations and the sales market analysis. Secondly, building personas and analyzing a target user’s experience of using a tablet for our target users, and explore their needs in Product design as well as Interface design, then putting forward a list of demands. Finally, according to the list of demands to design Darfoo Square Dance tablet from the shape to the system for our target users, and describe the product’s characteristics.The innovation of this design study includes three parts:1) Systematical analyze of the Square Dance phenomenon, come to questions and demands of the existing market; 2) Putting forward the list of demands; 3) Design of Darfoo Square Dance tablet PC follows the list of demands.
