The Exploration Between Square And Circular

"Between the circles" comes from the ancient Chinese theory of "heaven and earth",which is the beginning of the Chinese ancients’ cognition of the universe world.Its thought runs through all aspects of the ancients’ life and has been influenced so far.Among them,Fang Yuan’s design concept has practical,natural,social and other directions,and its design thinking can still be used for reference to solve the current and future social development problems.This paper is divided into four parts to discuss.The first part mainly discusses the influence and function of the concept of "Fang Yuan" in the aspects of etiquette,human behavior and character,philosophical speculation,creation and so on.According to the summary of the first part,the second part explores the ideological connotation of the design concept of the square circle.Through the analysis of the design concept of the square circle,it is found that its design connotation is forward-looking and has guiding significance for the development and trend of future design.Combined with the analysis of advanced design cases,theory and practice,it discusses the application of its thinking in the current and future design.The third part summarizes the previous two parts,and puts forward the theory and practice methods that designers should have in the future design,which provides new design thinking and artistic expression methods for designers in the future art creation process.The fourth part carries on the graduation project practice according to the square circle design theory discussed above.Chinese traditional culture has a profound theoretical and practical basis,and its artistic spirit has continued to this day.In this paper,the most representative of the theory of "heaven and earth" is studied,and it is found that its internal ecological ethics design ideas can point out the way for our current social predicament,and provide reference for the future society and design development direction.
