The Creation Of The Harvest

I was born and raised in the countryside, where there is always a harvest scene when it comes to autumn. Of all the crops the golden yellow corn impressed me a lot, which brings a lot happiness and joy to my family. Now I am outside of my hometown,but this beautiful harvest scene often lingers in my heart. So in my graduate creation work, I want to use the corn of the harvest season to express my love for my hometown. Some of my understanding and comprehensiveness in the process of my creation are being discussed mainly in three aspects which are creation reason, form exploration and creation experience.This creation work is mainly based on my subjective processing. And the tip of the corn is treated as one point,the vertical arrangement of the corns as the line and the combination of all the corns as the face, according to which the complex form of the corns is being summarized, refined,generalized and combined. In the meantime, a new composition form and painting language is being appropriately explored,which mainly through outline sketch, color collocation and other techniques to enrich the richness sense of the wholepicture. In terms of the composition of my work, in order to show the harvest scene of the countryside, the composition form of combining the horizon line and the vertical line, in this work by hanging up the corns in a row, is being used, which results in a visual effect of endless. And in terms of the lines,considering that different object has different texture, the shade and moisture of the ink painting is used differently according to the characteristic of the object. When it comes to the color, the orange is being used as the main color due to it’s cordial feeling and shock feeling combined with using purple, orange red, yellow and white to achieve a balance effect.By this way, a vivid and enthusiastic harvest scene is being built.
