As part of the production and dissemination of literary ecology,literary periodicals are the soil from which works and writers thrive.They are the main planners and promoters of literary trends,and they are also faithful records and witnesses of the literary process.The literary periodicals infiltrated the literary production to a certain extent to record and even influence the appearance of Chinese contemporary literature.Therefore,the study of literary journals is of great significance for entering literary history and broadening the literary field of vision.As the earliest bi-monthly large-scale literature periodicals in contemporary China,Harvest is undoubtedly the typical text and important reference for entering contemporary literary ecology and viewing the changes of literature.The focus of this paper is on the late 1980s and early 1990s.The end of the 1980s and the beginning of the 1990s are considered as a whole.This is a key period of change for Harvest and contemporary literature.In this short span of 10 years,the experimental tide of formal writing has experienced a period of prosperity and decline.Chinese contemporary novels have finished the last qualitative leap in the 20th century.Thus Harvest is both a witness to history and a participant in change.It is determined the two ideas of this article:to view contemporary novels through Harvest and to observe Harvest in the trend of contemporary literature.That Specifically divided into the following three chapters in detail.The first chapter put Harvest as an organism in the contemporary Chinese literary ecology,objectively discusses the position of Harvest in the literary periodical industrial system and the position of contemporary literary from two aspects of generality and characteristics.By sketching out the intrinsic internal and external structure of literary periodicals,we can explore the media and productivity of Harvest as a member of a pure literary journal.To explore how the brand of Harvest was established,to highlight the characteristics that Harvest is based on literary periodicals and contemporary literature.The second chapter is Harvest and the post-85s new wave.It describes the process of brewing,bursting and waning in the Harvest.It is evaluated the influence of new wave of novels taking place in Harvest that classical avant-garde vanguard and leads the 1990s,so that explores the trend of the literary and the meaning of the times in order to reveal the complex connection between the post-85s new wave and Harvest and to consider the interactive relationship between literary periodicals and literary thoughts.The third chapter is to observe the new trends of novels in the early 1990s from Harvest,and analyze the concrete manifestations of the development trend of novels in the 1990s,in order to radiate important issues and phenomena that will emerge before the end of the century,including the mid and late 1980s.The authors of the above literary are gradually becoming more mature in their creation,the emergence of new generation writers,and the penetration of pure literature by the film and television in the market and popular culture.Overall,from 1985 to 1994,Harvest strives to continue the novel's metabolism,recording the growth of the writer and the maturity of the novel's style in contemporary China,and making readers feel the vitality of the continued development of contemporary Chinese literature.From the standpoint of the present,we can see the harvest of fiction in the eighties and nineties in the 20th century with an omniscience perspective and a look-back attitude.
