Nepali college students speak Nepali and localization English, which both jointly affect their learning Chinese phonetics. On the consonants, vowels and tones, their errors are very serious. Pronunciation deforming and pronunciation confusing because of pronunciation obstacles is called obstructive error. Error that is not from pronunciation obstacle but phonological rules confusing is called confusingly error. Obstructive error is difficult in initial stage, but the recurrence rate is low. Confusingly error is easy to correct in time, but it is very stubborn and appears quite frequently.As for consonants, errors never occur in m, n, l, s. B, p, d, t, g, k does not exist pronunciation obstacles, but the aspirated ones of them are always mistaken to be unaspirated ones. Problems on f and p are pronunciation obstacles. Because of pronunciation obstacles, j, q, x is easily confused with z, c, s, or internal confused with each other. Zh, ch, sh is usually confused with z, c, s or internal confused. The situation of r is more complicated. Except b, p, d, t, g, k, all the errors are obstructive errors. Vowel errors are made up of the pronunciation obstacles in ü[y],- i[?],- i[?], er [?], the confusion between [i], [?] and [?], the confusion from two points’ omission of ü, confusion among four pronunciation of e, etc. As for tone, pronunciation obstacle is the biggest problem, especially Yangping. Shangsheng is not the most difficult one. Qusheng and Yinping are easier.Reasons of errors are negative inter-lingual transfer, negative innerlingual transfer and learning strategies. The rules that Nepali assimilates English have an influence in learning Chinese as well. For errors, some teaching principles and correction methods will be provided.Theory about pronunciation and phonic is useful for college students. Pronunciation ways and practices should paid more attention in obstructive errors, and theory theoretical analysis is more helpful in confusingly errors.
