As a literary theorist, Mao Dun has expressed concern about the theory of sexual description in early. Academic research on Mao Dun described mainly from Mao Dun’s ideas and works to a discussion and analysis; most are single works of discussion and is not a system, a comprehensive study. These studies, the analysis of artistic techniques, there are still a lot of differences. Mao dun has no writing system full of sex theory; these theories are referring to his complicated literary theory and creative practice. In this paper, a comprehensive analysis of the literary criticism published by Mao Dun, from the aspects of values, artistic value and openness, three construction of Mao dun’s sex theory, and discusses the significance of Mao dun sex theory.In this paper, the theory of Mao Dun’s sexual description is constructed by three plates. The first chapter, values: to reflect the social reality. This chapter is divided into two sections, the theoretical level advocacy and values in the creative practice of the embodiment. The theoretical level is divided into six sections; the first section, Mao Dun’s theory of sexual description from the literary view of life; the second section, the evaluation of the ancient literature Jin Ping Mei, the positive advocacy of the description must have social significance; the third section of the Sink evaluation reflects the tendency of social realistic significance; the fourth section, advocate and affirmative description must reflect the main social events and ideology; the fifth section, in a series of literature and art movement, the trend of thought also reflected this value view; the sixth section, the review of the film. This chapter is divided into two sections. The first section is to absorb and fusion, this section is divided into four sections; in the first section Mao dun to instincts, unconscious; in the second section is a description of the dream; in the third section, Mao Dun reference to narcissism, fetish, homosexuality and other abnormal psychology; in the fourth section, The influence of The Symbol of Depression on Mao Dun wrote by Kuriyagawa. The second section through Ye Du Ou Ji on Mao Dun to psychology and related modernism deny and abandon, so as to close the open realism of description theory.
