Chinese painting has a long history, in the process of its development, from flowers and birds, to figures and landscape painting, all of these have its own rule. Starting from simple patterns of the primitive society, Bred in Chinese nation spirit、Chinese philosophy and excellent traditional culture,the schema of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting has been constantly enriched and developed, and keeps change with the development of the ages. Nowadays, painters pay more attention to the pursuit of form and the visual impact, which results in that the form feeling of the painting is at the equally important position with the expression of the painting content.As a result, with people’s visual aesthetic changing a lot as well as a large number of folk art, modern design elements and the performance of the super space and other forms blending into the flower-and-bird painting, the schema of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting in the contemporary social environment has gradually formed a diversified development trend. Therefore, the development and innovation of the schema of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting presents not only asimple picture of the form, but more than the painter creation intention and creation psychological expressions. And it pays more attention to the expression of the spiritual civilization and cultural connotation in order to make it has cultural and contemporary significance as it weeds through the old to bring forth the new.This thesis is divided into four chapters to cover the schema of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting. In the first chapter, an introduction of the schema of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting will be clarified, and through some specific works of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting, the evolution of the schema of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting is being analyzed. And in the second chapter, based on the concept of philosophy and visual psychological, the influence factors of the schema of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting is being elaborated. And the third chapter focuses on the artistic features of the schema form of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting, which includes the traditional artistic features of the schema form of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting and the modern and contemporary art characteristics of the schema form of the Chinese flower-and-bird painting. The former includes three aspects,which is the picture form diversity, fold branch type,panoramic and half scene type three kinds of form composition and the color characteristics of the color appearance of color,the color unity between subject and object. The latter includes inheritance of tradition, fusion of Chinese and western,decorative composition, breakthrough concepts and other diversified development. Finally in the fourth chapter, the thinking between the traditional and modern and contemporary Chinese flower-and-bird painting schema is being described.Combined with the creative practice, individual art language and the expression of the schema are explored.
