The Study On Schema Of Flowers And Birds In Shaanxi Folk Art And Its' Inspiration To Contemporary Flower-bird Painting

In the history of Shaanxi folk art, the extensively applied modeling elements of flowers and birds of characterizing, although differ from the expression form of court paintings and that of wash drawing, share the same pattern origin with each other. In the study and creation of contemporary flower-bird painting as well as in the learning of the essence of court painting and "refined" culture, it is indispensable to pay close attention to the humanistic connotation and rich representation of the original "secular" folk culture.As the diversity and globalization of art, it is necessary for the creation of contemporary flower-bird painting to widely assimilate the essence of different art form, in order to enrich its own representation and concept for creation. Besides, the "original" and "masculine" aesthetic value of folk art, as well as rustic taste of Shaanxi locality in shape, color and structure, is worth learning.This essay explains the flower and bird pattern used in the Shaanxi folk art, the original creation concept of pattern, and the character of analytical pattern with comparing to the folk art which is borrowed by contemporary flower and bird painting, then to draw the conclusion of the meaning of learning folk art in the creation of contemporary flower-bird painting in shape, color and structure.The innovation of this essay is to conduct analysis based on the character of the pattern of Shaanxi flower-bird painting which is represented in shape, color, concept and aesthetic, and to contribute to the borrowing of folk context shape by contemporary flower-bird painting. What's more, the author combined theory and experience by the analysis of the examples of the relationship between contemporary and folk flower-bird painting. The author expects to bring something new to the contemporary flower-bird painting and to explore the expression way of folk and race.
