| The further deepening of globalization has witnessed more and more communication between countries and people, which results in more and more need for interpreting. However, although interpreting is developing all the time, it has not been introduced into many areas. For example, many talk shows have not had their interpreted counterparts. Therefore, by the way of consecutive interpreting, the writer selects a program from the Jing’s Time to carry out an interpreting practice. The writer of the paper makes a full preparation, analyzes some special cases, talks about the usage and advantages of interpreting principles, proposes three "contradictions", makes a conclusion and raises three points of personal insights.This paper consists of three parts-introduction, the main body and conclusion.The first part of the paper is about the introduction in which the writer describes the study background of the interpreting practice of the talk show Jing’s Time and the reason for writing this paper.The second part is about the main body of this paper which contains three parts:In chapter one, the writer talks about task description, including background description and interpreting process description, and preparation for interpreting practice, in which the writer makes a detailed description for some interpreting experience available for the writer to refer to and necessary tools.In chapter two, the writer probes into some typical cases with two main principles-equivalent translation and KISS PRINCIPLE-in the level of words and sentences.In chapter three, the writer, based on the difficulties which she is encountered in her interpreting activity, refines three "contradictions" and gives some tips for resolving the contradictions.And the last part is about conclusion where the writer makes a conclusion for this interpreting practice and raises three insights which, the writer hopes, can have some reference significance for future’s interpreting activities. |
