Since 1990, comic short sketch not only has the superficial meaning of entertainment, but also has a rich spiritual significance for the people living in the land. Besides some entertaining and commercial meaning, it also reflect the meaning of life. From the perspective of the aesthetic appreciation of the people, to make people laugh is more and more difficult in the time of revelry or relief. The outdated crosstalk has been replaced by the short sketch, which illustrate that the society need this kind of "existence". Existence is rational:"There are roses, let’s dance here." The characteristic of the Northeast region nourish the Er ren zhuan (a song-and-dance duet popular in the Northeast of China) and the comedy, just as Song xiaobao said:"I know you need me, I know that I can bring you much happiness." Although the folk comedy never occupy the mainstream of comedy, it has been a more active factor, constantly making people involved, and become a "off-road carnival". Folklore also should focus on the artistic form which can reproduce the public spirit world (even if is not comprehensive), perhaps it needs another kind of vision and perspective of folk custom. From the perspective of the pragmatism, the word "comedy", originated in Greek,means "the songs of the carnival parade"; In China, which is non-Christian country, comedy originated from the pragmatic view of drama -- "useful". In the early time, it has the word of youmengyiguan, which means disguising as sb., acting a part or imitating. It also make a contrast of the actor and the hero through the saying of "yuyiweixiang" and "the hero is righteousness and the actor is cruel". Chinese comedy is surviving on the hard road, revealing that the comedy spirit is a kind of fundamental human spirit. No matter how the cultural, political and economic environment is, it can’t be extinguished or locked. At the same time, Comic artists obtain a special kind of say through the comedy:they point directly to the authorities and gradually become the spokesman of the heterogeneous voice. Today, in the broadest sense, there are many types of comedy, including jokes, carnival ceremony, folk performances, sketch comedy, and talk show. They are far away from the official form and rooted in the folk, material life, or the spiritual world, they can reflect the all-encompassing kinds of lives of the people in the lower class.This paper starts with the loving of the land which nourish comedy sketch in Northeast and the art form of Er ren zhuan, backing to the cause of its folk culture, and fully show the prototype of the northeast comedy sketch and its unique vitality. The paper is divided into four chapters and the first chapter contains three section:the root of comedy sketch of folk culture, people’s witty world view and the principle of laugh. The Chapter discusses that people’s witty world view is based on Bakhtin’s carnival humorous view of the actors and the audience in the comedy sketch. And it analysis the principle of laugh, based on the theory of superiority, inconsistency and relief.
