In The《A Dream In Red Mansions》Uighur Language Translation Study On Chinese Parataxis And Hypotaxis Compound Sentence

Parataxis and hypotaxis are a kind of language phenomenon, they are belonged to grammar category and are the important organization approaches in Chinese and Uighur language. It’s commonly believed that parataxis is the main factor in Chinese grammar, but in Uighur language,the hypotaxis is important. In the deeper research, we can find that in Chinese and Uighur language both have parataxis and hypotaxis features. So we begin to consider the relationship between parataxis and hypotaxis sentences in Chinese, how to translate the Chinese parataxis and hypotaxis sentences into Uighur language, whether the translated Uighur language is existed in hypotaxis or not, and what are the translation methods and skills during the translation. In order to solve the above problems, this paper discussed the compound sentence in preceding eighty chapters in A Dream in Red Mansions, adopted contrast measures to analyze the parataxis typical events in Chinese translation,found the differences and indifferences. At the same time, it adopted the document investigation methods of practical linguistics to collect the typical sentences of preceding eighty chapters in A Dream in Red Mansions, analyze the relationship between them, summarize and classify. Then analyzed the parataxis in Chinese and Uighur language sentences from the previous studies, adopted the quantitative and qualitative translatology to analyze the translation methods and skills in the aspects of parataxis and hypotaxis in Chinese sentences, concluded the situation from Chinese parataxis and hypotaxis compound sentence translation to the corresponding Uighur language translation. This paper studied the Chinese parataxis and hypotaxis in the side of compound sentence, dialectically considered the corresponding situation of parataxis and hypotaxis during the translation, thus it hoped to find the parataxis and hypotaxis regulars when Chinese was translated to Uighur language, for the better understanding in the characters of Chinese and Uighur language organization,promote bilingual learner’s study process and the mutual communication in ethnic Han and the Wei nationality, also provide the support and evidence in Chinese and Uighur language translation theory and practice, then make a contribution to Sin kiang’s Chinese and Uighur language bilingual teaching. Finally, the paper got a conclusion, sometimes it was parataxis to parataxis, parataxis to hypotaxis, and sometimes it was hypotaxis to parataxis,hypotaxis to hypotaxis, but commonly the parataxis and hypotaxis were existed simultaneouslywhen Chinese parataxis and hypotaxis compound sentences were translated into Uighur language.The greatest distinction of parataxis and hypotaxis sentences was whether it had the use of relevant and connected words or not. So in the later translation, we can not only think that Chinese pays more attention to parataxis and Uighur language pays more attention to hypotaxis,but dialectically treat the parataxis and hypotaxis’ existence in both Chinese and Uighur language, thus, in order to achieve an ideal translation result, it has to be used in a cooperative way.
