In the eighty or ninety’s of twentieth Century, Wang Shuo’s novels set off an upsurge in the literary world, and his writings are also controversial. Contrary to the sublime nature and seriousness of the orthodox novel, Wang Shuo’s novels have the authority, dignity and dignity, and dispel the truth and order, and dispel the traditional values and moral values.As a view of narratology, these features of the village in the works of narrative discourse, character design, plot structure design are embodied in three aspects. Wang Shuo’s novels to the village of contemporary Chinese politics, culture, literature, there are three aspects of positive significance, there are certain limitations.This paper contains three chapters, each chapter is as follows:The first chapter: Study on the rhetorical features of Wang Shuo’s novels’ nonsolemnity characteristics in narrative discourse. Using the narrative rhetoric and related knowledge, analyzing Wang Shuo’s novel of parody and irony, aimless conversation characteristics.The second chapter: Study on the non-solemnity characteristics of character design in the novels of Wang Shuo. With funny behavior, they get rid of the noble and solemn.The third chapter: The study of the non-solemnity characteristics of Wang Shuo’s plot design. The general characteristic of the plot of Wang Shuo’s novels is absurd. The traditional values and moral values are overturned in the absurd plot. In this chapter, author will analyze the non-solemnity characteristics of’ the plot design in Wang Shuo’s novels,from the options and development of plot.Conclusion: The non-solemnity characteristics of Wang Shuo’s novel are a doubleedged sword. Though it really brought some positive significance in political, cultural and literary field, it is too extreme and it has certain limitations. In the political field, the non-solemnity characteristics in Wang Shuo’s novel is a sharp negation to the hypocrisy. The positive political significance is clear. But any nation, the country, the government’s ideology, need positive, lofty ideal of society and politics, regardless of the wheat from the chaff a almost digestion negative all noble objects, also have negative effect. For Culture, the non-solemnity characteristics of Wang Shuo’s novels digested hypocrisy in the traditional culture, the false content and corresponding personality. But indiscriminate including really noble, culture and great personality shall be deconstruct, is extreme and one-sided. In literature, Wang Shuo’s novels have a fatal effect on destroying the false noble literature. In the process of popularization of Chinese literature, Wang Shuo’s novels are not only a sign of transformation, but also an important force to promote the transformation. Also from the perspective of literary world,the non-solemnity characteristics of Wang Shuo’s novels are the Chinese literature in the late 1940 s closed environment indulging in self repeat after decades later, again with the world contact with modernism, after docking of the modernistic literature product. However, China’s specific historical and realistic, specific national conditions determine the Chinese contemporary literature cannot also should not completely eliminate all values, all of the noble, all the significance. Our society and literature must pursuit, believe and follow something of value. In that sense, the non-solemnity characteristics of Wang Shuo’s novels show the limitations of their own.
