Yuchang is an excellence shoolar in Late Qing Dynasty, having rich books which involve classical studies, collate, exegeses and so on. Xiangcao Xujiaoshu (香草续 校书) is a kind of note book which is extensively involved including collate,exegeses, phonology..This book have many to learn and deserve to reference including collate method, the role of phonology in exegesis. Shoolar had absorbed many things from his books.This dissertation is deeper research from the term, collate, exegeses.And question some examples.In the term, Yuchang follow the traditional terms.the dissertation give some examples.In collate, Yuchang presented many unique insight. By reference to the opinions of later scholars, to analyze the reasonable and unreasonable examples.In exegeses, Yuchang was proficient in phonology, and use it to research, and came up with many Novel exegeses.It is very good for literature’s annotate.this part also referents to the opinions of later scholars, author try to generalize and analysis some examples to find out whether Yuchang’s statement is reasonable.to reflect characteristic and value of the Yuchang’ exegeses.
