Chinese traditional patterns a indispensable part of of the traditional Oriental art. As a sophisticated and intricate system of images, patterns formalize cultures and creatures, patterns inherited the cultures with values held by oriental peoples and art concepts, as well as a certain idea of social information. It is the result of relatively highly developed stage of culture and art, which comes along with the development of Chinese history, culture and art, undergoing the change of dynasties, containing long-term oriental national spirit and artistic value.Chinese traditional patterns has a fairly rich resource of images, containing all cultural elements and image systems stemming from long expanse of time and territory. These resources of traditional patterns are advancing rapidly together with modern design in various fields, being recognized and applied to print, decoration, multimedia, and other fields.The Qing Dynasty Buzi patter on the officers’gowns is just the essence of Chinese patterns created with our traditional aesthetic concept, and the combination of traditional Chinese thinking patterns and visual patterns. The Qing Dynasty Buzi patterns has the artistic style and pattern system that were inherited from ancient time, and it was also influenced by traditional Chinese cultural and social influence, brought about by the use of some common folk in moral ways and practices, and a collection of various themes and patterns.Studying Chinese Qing Dynasty Buzi patterns helps us understand the deeper meaning of the graphics system and Chinese traditional patterns and hand down the culture of Chinese art culture. We can use a variety of forms, such as the use of traditional elements in graphic design; or we can break down or reorganize the traditional elements, find its correlation with modern design, and put it to use or even redesign it. Eventually we can transform the traditional patterns into modern design, or combine the two.
