The Style, Characteristic And Interpretation Of A Song Called "Wandering Moon"

"Wandering Moon" (Vaga luna che inargenti), a moving and lyrical song, was created by a Italian composer called Bellini. This lyrical song is featured by deep feeling, clear rhythm and clear melody. The song is one of Bellini’s iconic works about love. For me, when I heard the song, I was so impressed by it that I had an idea to research on it. Previous researches mainly focused on Bellini’s opera arias, as a result, scholars had comprehensive research and analysis on them. As for the researches I found, researches on Bellini’s song Vaga luna che inargenti are rather limited, of which the number is less than ten.By researching on the understanding of this song with my own thinking, the thesis is original and creative. In this paper, by analyzing the lyric and the song of three great movements and ten small movements, I elaborate my understanding and feeling with my own singing experience. Hopefully, my deeper understanding and further exploration on music feature, singing, emotion expression, stage performance and etc, will be my main contents in the thesis.
