Stereotype is immobilized and generalized cognitive schema about psychological and behavioral properties of social groups. It has positive stereotype and negative stereotype, which affect behavior also has two different outcomes: stereotype threat and stereotype lift. The negative influence of stereotype threat can be found in many fields, which is the basis to explore the intervention strategy. Research has shown that social comparison feedback has different effects in the process of motor learning. Combining with the characteristics of motor learning task, this study explored the influence of social comparison feedback on motor learning effect in the situation of gender stereotype threat. This study included three experiments. Experiment 1 examined the effects of different stereotype on the motor learning of dribbling soccer. The results showed that stereotype threat can damage the effect of motor learning, and stereotype lift cannot promote the effect of the motor learning.we can learn the stereotype threat will have negative impact from experiment 1. On the basic of the experiment 1, combined with the characteristics of the motor learning, Experiment 2 explored the influence of social comparison feedback on motor learning effect in the situation of gender stereotype threat. The results showed that under the situation of stereotype threat, the positive social comparison feedback will have a better learning effect, and negative social comparison feedback will hurt the effect of the motor learning.Experiment 2 confirmed the positive social feedback has positive influence on stereotype threat effect, but we need to discuss the methods in depth. Therefore, Experiment 3 explored the effects of different relative frequency positive social comparison feedback on the motor learning in the situation of gender stereotype threat. The results showed that under the situation of stereotype threat, the 100% positive social comparison feedback will have a better learning effect in the immediate retention test, and 33% positive social comparison feedback will have a better effect of the motor learning in the delayed retention test. The present research demonstrated the effects of the different stereotype in the process of motor learning, and the positive social comparison feedback could alleviate the stereotype effect at a certain extent, and low frequency positive social comparison feedback has a long-term positive effect. These results not only increased the research of stereotype, also to provide the reference for the way to alleviate the stereotype threat effect in the sports field of education or training.
