Dance specialty teacher education in higher education is an important educational category, shouldering critical responsibility of training professional art educators, being of significance for development of art education and spread of dancing culture. So, as a special discipline, it shall have an accurate positioning, and we every dance education practitioner shall fully recognize the value of dance specialty teacher education in higher education, and fully play its role in dancing talent training.Dance teacher specialty in higher education of Shandong made significant achievement in student education though, also has some problems. We should not avoid problems in education work, but face them actively. Rapid development of society requires more and more for dance specialty education, and training high quality dancing talents is still the responsibility and direction of current dance teacher specialty education of higher education. This article intends to explore feasible plan to improve current educational mode by researching and discussing student education and training of dance teacher specialty in higher education of Shandong.This article includes four parts:the first part is the introduction, mainly describing background of the article, research significance, current state of research in the theoretical cycle at home and abroad, and research methods used in demonstration of this article; the second part systematically describes values and standards of student training of dance teacher specialty in higher education of Shandong; the third party reveals current situation, problems and survey in training goal, status of students and curriculum of student training of dance teacher specialty in higher education of Shandong; the fourth chapter puts forward relevant improvement suggestions to solve these problems:(1) strengthening subject construction to promote students’ teaching abilities; (2) paying attention to teacher training; (3) improving teaching methods to develop students’ creative thinking; (4) gradually perfecting the training environment of students.
