The Artistic Characteristics Of Newly Excavated Mural Tomb Of The Five Dynasties In Late Tang Dynasty From Luoyang

Five Dynasties period is a special historical period of political division. Based o n this political division characteristic, the tombs’ regional characteristics of the Five Dynasties period is very obvious. The overall characteristics of tomb murals in the Fi ve Dynasties is secular and lifestyle, the decoration of the murals was also focused o n the tomb inside, and combined with brick, which become the mainstream of the So ng Dynasty. Thus, the Five Dynasties tomb murals played a "nexus" role in connecti on Tang and Song tomb murals. In this paper, we selected four typical cases in Luoy ang- the Luoyang Mengjin new village Late Tang Dynasty tomb murals, Luoyang L ongsheng Primary school Five Dynasties tomb murals, Luoyang Mangshan Town Yi ng Zhuang Village Five Dynasties tomb murals, Luoyang Mangshan Town Miaobei Village tomb murals, this four cases as the basic object to analysis, Discussion on the Comprehensive Art Features of the Five Dynasties tomb murals, and general analyz ed the idea which contained in the actual build process from an artistic point of view.In this paper, the author synthesizes the artistic features of the Five Dynasties tombs murals, especially the ingenious idea of the images and drawing structures, followin g the historical development and characteristics of the time, and provided a more det ailed references for relevant industry practitioners and researchers.
