According to the ancient mural tombs found in China,the oldest can be traced back to the Han Dynasty until the Ming and Qing Dynasties.These underground murals form another Chinese painting history in China.The excavations of mural tombs during the Wei,Jin and Southern and Northern Dynasties have led to the attention of many researchers.Some people say that the Wei,Jin and the Northern and Southern Dynasties were an era of artistic"self-consciousness",and some scholars believed that the arts of this period,especially the Northern Qi Dynasty,were quite "Renaissance"-style.If the art of the Tang Dynasty was the golden period of the ancient Chinese painting history,the Northern Qi of the Wei,Jin,Southern and Northern Dynasties was the Renaissance period.The Jiuyuangang North-Tibet Mural Tomb was discovered in the spring of 2013 due to multiple thefts.According to the excavation briefing report,the interior of the tomb has larger murals,including the east and west sides of the tomb,and the front of the door above the tomb.The inner wall of the ramp and the interior wall of the tomb.The frescoes around the interior wall of the tomb were destroyed by robbing and only some of the lower part of the frescoes were left.Fortunately,the rest of the tomb has a large area of murals and rich in content,many of the subjects are more rare,such as the sky map,horse trade map,hunting maps,North Dawn Tower building architectural drawings and so on.These exquisite murals are precious materials for interpreting the Northern Dynasties' social life,the context of the development of painting history,and historical cultu re.At the same time,they also filled the linguistic environment of Luzhou in the context of the society at that time.The study of the area is blan k.This paper centers on the murals of the Northern Tombs of Jiuyuangang in Zhangzhou,and links them to the context of the entire tomb space,social and historical background,and the development of painting histo ry.It combines archaeological findings and literature data with mutual interpretation,image analysis and comparative analysis.The method is to study and sort out the style characteristics of the mural paintings in the tomb;analyze the expression of foreign art in the murals of the tomb in the context of contempora ry Chinese and foreign cultu ral blending;and the tomb paintings that are similar to the contempora ry style.See the unique featu res of other chamber murals for comparative discussion,and then analyze the artistic characteristics of the development of tomb murals in this period.Rough combing of the artistic features of the murals of the tomb.
