Mongolia is located in Northern part of neighboring China and friendly neighbor with China; therefore more Mongolians are learning Chinese. But there is a significant gap between student who studies in China and Student who studies in non-Chinese language environment, especially in Chinese speaking and listening.How to reduce the gap?In order to solve this problem, I choose this topic. Audio-visual view is very suitable for teaching and learning the second language and its culture. Because the Audio-visual teaching can help learners to understand and learn everyday expression, can make students feel in the language environment. Also it can help students to feel intuitively Chinese culture, because the language cannot do without culture, culture is the life.Do not understand the cultural background, does not understand the cultural connotation, deviations or errors occur in language comprehension. Therefore, the innovation of this paper is to use culture which is in "Home with kids" TV series, teaching Culture class. Although the use of television works in terms of culture is relatively common, but rarely use TV series in teaching Culture class. Also one of the main parts in this paper is how to use the theory in Chinese teaching practice, especially the use of TV series in teaching and culture teaching in language skills.In order to better develop the instructional design, I compared the theory of teaching design, the present teaching requirements, and method of using drama in Chinese teaching. Also I compared the vocabulary of the TV series with HSK vocabulary, compared the culture which is in the TV series with outline of culture.This paper mainly consists of four parts.The first chapter is the introduction. It includes the significance of the topic, research review, research innovation and research methods, research priorities and difficulties, etc.The second chapter is the questionnaire of teaching and its analysis. Through the questionnaire, it has been clear about the language scale which Mongolian students want to improve, how they interest Chinese culture and which types of culture they want know, which teaching method they are prefer.The third chapter is analysis of selecting "Home with kids" in the Chinese language teaching.The forth chapter is the overall design of "Home with kids" in the Chinese language teaching, and the design of listening, speaking, reading, reading, listening and speaking, and cultural lessons from the TV series etc.
