Classifier is a very special one among the parts of the speech of Chinese,it exists actively in our life.Besides special-classifier,there still exists a species that has a very great quantity and a open source,it is temporary-classifier,thus borrowing noun to be classifier is worth studying. This article focuses on temporary-classifier as the research objective and restrict it within the construction“一 N1+N2”.Because this linguistic phenomenon is closely related to our daily life, and cognitive linguistics is good at bringing people’s understanding to the world and existing experience into play and using them to research linguistic phenomenon, therefore this article selects a cognitive point of view:the article investigates the deep relation among the members in this structure by virtue of“mapping”,“metaphor”,“metonymy”,“the principle saliency”,“image-schema”,and some other theories, and the method of semantic analysis and the analysis of a large number of examples, and emphasizes on the source and classification of temporary-classifier N1 and the relationship between it and the central word N2.Meanwhile,analyzes the numeral“ 一 ”and the central word N2,presents the semantic orientation and collocation relations on the whole. This article tends to illustrate that in language activity, when people needs to describe the quantity of objective N2 by using a classifier,on the basis of the specific image schema and the given cognitive framework, people usually search for N1 that is similar to,next to or related to N2.Beside,this article explains the linguistic phenomenon,temporary-classifier,from a cognitive point of view.
